Kotomi Tachibana (橘 琴美, Tachibana Kotomi) was a childhood friend of Ginta and Koyuki.
Appearance[]
Kotomi has light skin with brown eyes and shoulder-length brunette hair that flares out at the ends.

Kotomi is a playful and adventurous girl with a bit of a stubborn streak.
History[]
Ginta and Koyuki affectionately refer to by the nickname "Kon-chan". The trio often played hide-and-seek in their neighborhood in Tokyo. One day, while Ginta was "it" for hide-and-seek, Kotomi collapsed in the street where she hid and and a passerby called for an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Ginta, who had already found Koyuki, was determined to find Kotomi at the hospital, but ended up getting lost. Koyuki convinced Ginta to give up for the day and to go home. That evening, Kotomi passed away. After the funeral, Ginta confessed to Koyuki his guilt about how him not being able to find Kotomi resulted in her death. To cope with the pain, Ginta suppressed his memories of Kotomi deep into his subconscious.
Ginta also tried his best to forget about Kotomi after she died, which he eventually succeeds, only to be reminded of this dark memory during his journey in the Earth fabricated from Ginta's memories, created by Pleine Lune.
