Jack's mother lives with her son on their family farm on Pazurika Island.
Appearance[]
Jack's mother is a middle-aged woman with her light brown hair tied back and wrapped in a head scarf. She usually wears a short-sleeved dress and boots, often with a shawl in her later years.
Personality[]
Despite not being an ÄRM user, Jack's mother is very headstrong who only shows assertion towards those she stands a chance against. She is also very thoughtful of others and generous in hospitality.
History[]
One day, she was being threatened by a pair of werewolves when two men, Jake and Gaira, intervened to defend her. Jake activated his Earth Scoop and used his Earth Wave technique to scare them away. She noticed he had a minor leg injury and immediately treated it. When she asks why he saved her, he says his home was a farm just like hers where his mother was waiting for him there to return as a grown man, and seeing her immediately made him feel like she was also family. She giggles at his reasoning, causing Jake to blush out of embarrassment.
Gaira and Jake both stay at her farm home for a while, the latter helping with planting new crops. She delightfully hugs Jake out of gratitude, before questioning whether she was competent enough to grow them. Jake holds her hand and offers to teach her, but the two turn around out of shyness. Blushing, she says she'll prepare a delicious meal out of appreciation.
She later overhears a conversation between Jake and Gaira behind the house. Jake stated he wanted to go with Gaira, who was planning on competing in a martial arts tournament in a neighboring country. Gaira scolds Jake for using his intent to get himself out his own dilemma, knowing full well that Jake was truly in love with the farm girl. Jake admits that her smile made him realize that he wanted to use his skills to bring the rough land to life and make her truly happy. Gaira assures him that he won't laugh at his change of heart, for he had found a new dream. Jake thanks Gaira, and they promise to meet again one day on when the land was thriving with greenery.
The two then married, and six years later, had a son whom they named Jack.
First Great MÄR Heaven War[]
One day, while teaching his son the most efficient way of pulling weeds, Gaira appeared to Jake with an arm injury. The family bring him into the home to treat him, and he informs them of the great ongoing war throughout MÄR Heaven waged by a militant group known as the Chess Pieces. Showing an image of Yggdrasil, Gaira asks Jake to come with him to Lestava, as his strength and botanical expertise was crucial in dealing with the indestructible tree. Jake steps outside to think over his decision when Jack meets up with him. Knowing that his eight year old son had no understanding of what war was, Jake tells him he might go on a journey far away for a while and that he must protect his mother and the farm while he's gone. Jack happily accepts the responsibility and his wife joins them outside, voicing support towards the decision.
Just before leaving the house, Jake told his wife if Jack ever tries to become a man while he's gone to give him encouragement in his place.
After the War Games[]
Later a messenger came by their house and told them of Jake's death. He also gave Jack his father's ÄRM, the Battle Scoop, which he fought with in the war. Jack looks up at his mother confused, and she hugs her son sorrowfully. Jack then understood what happened, and cried.
Six-Year Interlude[]
Five years after the end of the war, the Rogelu Brothers took advantage of Jake's absence and began visiting the farm regularly to devour most of their crops. Jack would try to stop them, but every attempt failed due to his lack of courage, and the brothers would continue their pillage for a year.
One evening, Jack and his mother hear noises in their fields in front of the house. Jack assumes it's the werewolves again and angrily ignores his mother's protests to confront the brothers, only to be shocked that it's a strangely dressed boy and a talking ÄRM. They invite the two into their home as a show of hospitality, and offer many of their homegrown vegetables. Ginta and Babbo introduce themselves, and Jack is dumbfounded at Ginta's claim of coming from a parallel world while creeped out that Babbo is a living ÄRM. Suddenly they hear howling from a distance, and Jack informs Ginta about the Rogelu Brothers, which fascinates him. Jack angrily replies that there's nothing "cool" about them, and Ginta realized his insensitivity as Jack spoke more about them. His mother voiced passiveness about the situation, as there was nothing that could really be done and she wouldn't be able to replace her son like they could the crops. Frustrated with his own powerlessness, Jack runs outside to cool off.
The next evening, his mother is fast asleep in bed when she is woken up by the sounds of a fight outside. She gets up and sees Jack confronting the werewolves. She stops herself from going out to call him back when she remembers her late husband's parting words before he left home about Jack's trial to manhood. She then continued to observe from the window as her son bravely struggled against the duo on his own and then being assisted by Ginta and Babbo. The two finish off Garu and Jack finishes off Ruga. Jack realizes that his legs were no longer shaking from fear, and gained confidence in acknowledgement that he (with Ginta and Babbo) defeated the Rogelu Brothers. Babbo then proceeds to knock out their remaining fangs and claws and chases them away from the farm. Dawn approaches, and Jack thanks Ginta, when suddenly his mother runs out to him and slaps him across the face. She scolds him over his recklessness before motioning to strike him again. Jack shrieks, but then sees she's unable to do it, as she's overwhelmed with relief that he was safe in the end. They embrace in happy tears, grateful that they still have each other.
After another full day of rest and decompressing, she sends Jack comes outside to tell Ginta and Babbo that lunch was ready. After several minutes, she impatiently comes outside herself and sees Ginta speaking about having left his own mother behind for adventure and intent to return safely. Jack's mother smiles, realizing her own son would also want to go on an adventure as part of a path to manhood. After lunch, she gives Ginta a new set of clothes to wear and tells him to take Jack with him on the journey. She assures Jack that she'll be fine while he's away, and desires that he help Ginta just like he helped them. With his mother's support, Jack sets off with Ginta and Babbo.
Second Great MÄR Heaven War[]
The Rogelu Brothers later made amends with Jack's mother and help out with the farming and earning their food (vegetables).

After the War Games[]
After the King of the Chess Pieces is defeated and Ginta returns to Earth, Jack returns home to the farm with the Rodkin Family accompanying him. As Jack and the Rogelu Brothers work in the fields, Jack's mother and Pano happily bring them lunch daily with Garon and Leno also giving their support.
