Gemühl-Essen (ゲミュールエッセン, Gemyūruessen) is a Ghost ÄRM that is planted over the heart of a victim, similarly to the Rondo of Time. Tentacles are ejected from the four claws that dig into the victim's body and pierce into the body itself slowly. When the tentacles reach the heart and successfully fuse with it, the victim loses all sense of self and humanity, and the caster is able to control them freely. However, if the victim's heart is unable to withstand the fusion, the tentacles end up crushing the heart instead and killing the victim.
Etymology and Origin[]
This ÄRM's name is German for "mill-eating", as the ÄRM "devours" the human heart that it would fuse with.
History[]
Kapel Meister developed the Gemühl-Essen ÄRM in an effort to ultimately use it on Phantom, believing that the latter needed to discard his "human heart" in order to become perfect. However, all of the test subjects whom Kapel experimented with the ÄRM on died due to fusion failure.
