Gate of Training (修練の門, Shūren no Mon) is a Dimension ÄRM that is used for training ÄRM users.

Appearing as a gate-like trapdoor in the ground, it puts people into a pocket dimension full of challenges programmed within at the user's will. Multiple doors can be summoned, either leading to their unique pocket dimensions or all leading to the same one. Time is compressed 60 times faster inside said dimension than it does outside it, making it ideal for training.

The drawback to using this ÄRM is deactivating the ÄRM prematurely often traps anyone who is still inside in this dimension forever, with a slim chance of escaping only if the ÄRM is used again and happens to link to that specific pocket dimension.

History[]

Used by the Chess Pieces in preparation for the war they would wage against the world, the soldiers of MÄR Heaven, who would form the Cross Guard, also used it to become stronger to fight back and defend their world.

First Great MÄR Heaven War[]

With the newly formed Cross Guard, the two founding soldiers, Alan and Gaira used the Gate of Training for many of their recruits. One soldier, Lilith, purposely vanished in the Gate of Training by using another Dimension ÄRM out of grief that could not be endured. Another, Danna, became so strong from his training that Alan and Gaira appointed him as the leader of the Cross Guard.

Six-Year Interlude[]

After the end of the first war, Gaira took it upon himself to train the youngest soldier of the Cross Guard, Alviss, into a competent fighter. He often threw Alviss into the Gate of Training hone his combat skills with designated opponents, while his fairy companion Belle would wait on the outside with Gaira.

The Chess Pieces, meanwhile, also resumed usage of the Gate of Training for new recruits like Chimera.

Second Great MÄR Heaven War[]

After the rescue of Princess Snow, Alan took Ginta, Babbo, and Jack with them to Pelica Port for lunch, and made their way to the outskirts of town. Alan then used the Gate of Training to open up two doors; Ginta, Babbo, and Snow falling into one and Jack and Dorothy falling into the other.
