Body Candle (ボディキャンドル, Bodikyandoru) is a Darkness ÄRM that links the target's bodily status to a burning candle that materializes on the caster's head, causing the target to melt down as it does until there is nothing left.
Compensation ⇒ If the target fails to completely melt, the caster will melt instead at a remarkably fast rate.

At the beginning of Kannochi's match against Ginta, he activates his Darkness ÄRM, Body Candle. Ginta seeing an Darkness ÄRM has curiously checks out his body to see what the curse has done before asking Kannochi. He takes off his top hat to reveal a burning candle and tells Ginta he's has been cursed, as when the candle melts to nothing so will Ginta. At this news Ginta and his team members panic and Alviss tells Ginta that it's all true and to destroy the ring ÄRM. Before anyone can act Kannochi swallows his ring.
Ginta's attempts to punch Kannochi in the gut to make him vomit out the ring or break it inside his stomach all fail, thus Ginta resorts to healing himself with Babbo's newest ability, Version 4: Alice. Alice both heals Ginta and removes the curse of him, as Ginta wishes to have a fair fight. With the failure of Body Candle, however, Kannochi himself begins to melt, and he regrets using Body Candle instead of starting with a "street fight". Before completely melting to death, Kannochi encourages Ginta to keep fighting, and warns him that from then on Team MÄR will be fighting the Knights, the true enemy.
